1. Agreement
By accessing or using Yatto Meet ("Yatto", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Yatto for an organization, school, employer, relocation program, or another person, you represent that you have authority to do so and to bind that organization or sponsored user where applicable.
If you do not agree, do not use Yatto.
2. The service
Yatto provides an AI language school experience delivered through Google Meet and connected return rails. The service may include a free first Meet, AI voice conversation, transcription, summaries, memory, recovery goals, continuation links, calendar/ICS delivery, and paid subscriptions.
Features may change as Yatto develops. We may add, remove, pause, limit, or modify features, including free trials, supported languages, AI teachers, providers, and pricing, at any time.
3. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 to use Yatto. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent, guardian, school, employer, or sponsoring organization.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for activity under your account, continuation link, Google account, or payment method.
- Some first-Meet flows may start before full account creation. Continued use may require Google sign-in, connected chat, payment setup, or other verification.
4. AI, language practice, and no professional advice
Yatto can help you practice practical language for daily life, such as housing, school, work, health appointments, immigration interviews, banking, travel, and local routines. Yatto does not provide legal, medical, immigration, financial, employment, psychological, or other professional advice.
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, offensive, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for checking important information with qualified professionals and for deciding how to use phrases or suggestions in real life.
Yatto does not guarantee language fluency, test scores, visa outcomes, job outcomes, housing outcomes, health outcomes, school outcomes, or any specific result.
5. Meet sessions, recording, and consent
- Yatto sessions may be processed by meeting bots, AI models, transcription systems, avatar systems, and related providers so the AI teacher can participate.
- Do not invite people to a Yatto session or share their voice, image, name, contact details, or private information unless you have permission and can lawfully do so.
- Do not share confidential, regulated, classified, or highly sensitive information unless you understand the risks and have authority to share it.
- You are responsible for complying with recording, consent, privacy, school, workplace, and meeting laws that apply to you and the people in your session.
6. User content and license
You own the content you provide to Yatto, including speech, chat, text, corrections, goals, and support messages, subject to any rights held by others.
You grant Yatto a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, reproduce, modify, summarize, translate, create embeddings or memory from, display, and otherwise use your content as needed to provide, secure, support, analyze, and improve Yatto. This license ends when the content is deleted from our active systems except where retention is reasonably required for backups, legal obligations, safety, billing, dispute resolution, or de-identified/aggregated analytics.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide your content and that your content does not violate law or anyone else's rights.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use Yatto to:
- Break the law, violate rights, impersonate others, deceive, harass, threaten, exploit, or harm anyone.
- Generate or practice instructions for violence, abuse, fraud, scams, malware, credential theft, evasion of safety systems, or other harmful conduct.
- Share sexual content involving minors or attempt to exploit minors.
- Upload or share private data, recordings, images, or confidential information without permission.
- Interfere with Yatto, Google Meet, providers, networks, security systems, rate limits, or other users.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or build a competing service from Yatto except as allowed by law or a written agreement.
8. Third-party services
Yatto relies on third-party services, including Google Meet, Google sign-in/APIs, AI model providers, meeting-bot providers, avatar/media providers, hosting/database providers, analytics/monitoring providers, and payment processors. Their terms and policies apply to their services.
Yatto is not responsible for third-party outages, changes, recording indicators, account rules, rate limits, payment decisions, identity checks, moderation decisions, or data practices. If a third-party service becomes unavailable or changes its rules, Yatto may need to modify or suspend related features.
9. Subscriptions, trials, cancellations, and refunds
- Some features may be free, trial-based, paid, or partner-sponsored. Pricing and plan limits are shown at checkout or in the relevant offer.
- Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled unless the checkout page or applicable law says otherwise.
- You authorize Yatto and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method for recurring fees, taxes, and permitted adjustments.
- You can cancel future renewals through the available billing flow or by contacting support. Cancellation does not automatically refund past charges unless required by law or expressly stated in the applicable offer.
- We may refuse, revoke, or limit free trials, credits, discounts, or promotional access for abuse, fraud, duplicate accounts, or eligibility issues.
10. Intellectual property
Yatto, the software, design, prompts, workflows, AI teacher personas, trademarks, logos, and related materials are owned by Yatto or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Yatto IP to you.
You may use Yatto only as permitted by these Terms. Do not remove notices, misuse branding, or imply endorsement without written permission.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for Yatto or others, failed to pay, abused trials, caused provider or security issues, or if we must comply with law or third-party provider requirements. You may stop using Yatto at any time.
12. Disclaimers
Yatto is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, accuracy, reliability, and error-free operation.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yatto and its affiliates, providers, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or service interruption. Our total liability for all claims relating to Yatto will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Yatto in the three months before the claim or USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
14. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold Yatto harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of Yatto, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of another person's rights.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer law in your location requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact [email protected] and try to resolve the issue informally.
16. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as Yatto changes. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating this page or sending an email when appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
